Alex DaBell currently serves as VP of Global Nutraceuticals & Innovation at doTERRA International LLC, a position held since October 2014, following roles as Director, Nutraceuticals & Innovation, Managing Scientist, and Sr. Scientist in the same department. Prior to doTERRA, Alex was a Formulator of Nutritional Products at Neways International from July 2008 to October 2014, overseeing technical development for over 50 nutritional products. Academic credentials include a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine (2021-2025), an MS in Physiology and Developmental Biology from Brigham Young University (2010-2012), and a BS in Biology from the same institution (2004-2008). Research experience includes studying cellular exocytosis and processing DNA samples for research analysis.
