Marco Aversa

Research Associate at Dotphoton

Marco Aversa has held various positions in the field of research and teaching. In 2018, they were a Postgraduate Research Associate in the Active Matter Group led by Prof. Roberto Di Leonardo, where they worked on a project titled "Trapping Forces in Optical Tweezers". In 2019, they were a Postgraduate Research Associate in the Photonics Group led by Prof. Eugenio Del Re, where they worked on a project titled "Ferroelectric Cluster Dynamics in Bias Super-Crystals". In 2020, they worked as a Research Associate at Dotphoton. In 2021, they began working as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Glasgow.

Marco Aversa has a long educational history. Marco obtained a High School Diploma from Liceo Scientifico E. Majorana in 2009-2014. Marco then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma from 2014-2017. Following that, they obtained a Master's degree in Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma from 2017-2019. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow from 2020-2023. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications, a Scholarship obtained for merit from BSP Pharmaceuticals S.p.A. in December 2019, and a Machine Learning certification from Coursera in November 2019.
