Ran Li has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources. From 2013-present, they have served as the HR Director for Douban. Prior to that, they were an HR Manager at Baidu, Inc. from 2009-2012. During their tenure there, they worked as a coordinator with headquarters to collaboratively complete the HR program, prepared and processed relevant payroll information, ensured successful implementation of focal point merit increase, and led HR policy and process changes consequent to related law & regulation. From 2007-2009, they were a Senior HR Specialist at Schneider Electric, where they provided professional services and effective support to all international assignees of Schneider China. From 2004-2007, they were an HR Generalist at Hewlett-Packard, where they were an integral member of the regional HR team, contributed to creating the strategy, priorities and programs for the region's Human Resource function, and led talent management discussions/plans for business function. Finally, from 2003-2004, they were an HR Specialist at Nolato, where they published/distributed company recruiting advertisements, identified and arranged suitable sourcing channels to search for candidates, conducted interviews and assessments, and handled staff on-board and exit procedures.
Ran Li received a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Capital University of Economics and Business in 2002. Subsequently, in 2003, they completed a Master's degree in Public Management from the University of Birmingham.
