Emma Whitehouse Chartered Fcipd

Emma Whitehouse is a Chartered FCIPD professional with extensive work experience. Emma is currently working at FirstPort (UK) as a People Director, a role they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of HR Business Partnering and Head of Resourcing at the same company.

Before joining FirstPort, Emma worked at Samworth Brothers as a Project Lead - Resourcing for a short period in 2021. Emma also had a significant tenure at Marston's PLC, where they held various roles, including Head of Resourcing and Organizational Effectiveness, Group Head of Resourcing and Leadership Development, and Head of HR Business Partnering for Taverns, Estates, and Premium Bars.

In 2016, Emma worked at RAC as a Senior HR Business Partner - Operations, responsible for developing and delivering people and change activities aligned with the business strategy. Emma also worked at Tarmac in multiple roles, including Snr Manager Organizational Development, HR Integration Project Manager, Senior Portfolio Manager, Senior Manager - Plan and Scorecard, and Change Manager.

Emma's earlier experiences include working as an HR Business Partner at The Paragon Group of Companies, a Strategic HR Manager at West Midlands Police, an Area HR Manager at Sainsbury's, and an HR Advisor at Boots The Chemists.

Throughout their career, Emma has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in various HR functions such as resourcing, organizational development, and performance management.

Emma Whitehouse Chartered FCIPD completed an MSc in Human Resource Development and Organisational Change at the University of Wolverhampton in 2008. Prior to that, they attended Sandwell College from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a CIPD qualification. Their secondary education took place at The Dormston School from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their degrees, Emma also holds additional certifications, including the Chartered FCIPD obtained in 2019, MSP Practitioner and Prince2 Practitioner from QA Ltd in 2012 and 2011 respectively. Emma also holds the Hill and Moorland Leader Award from MTA and a BTEC Higher in Pharmaceutical Science from BTEC.
