Leonel Maguet has experience working in various roles in the gaming industry. Leonel began their career as a programmer at Rebel Dwarf, where they worked on the project "Wurds" and was also involved in design decisions. Leonel then worked as a UX designer at MercadoLibre.com, where they implemented testing prototypes and assisted in research sessions.
Afterward, Leonel joined Pixowl as a game designer, where they worked on the development of "Sandbox Evolution" and fulfilled tasks such as content creation, level design, mission scripting, and campaign management. Leonel also enhanced the Caveman Campaign during their time there.
Leonel later worked as a freelance C# / Unity programmer, where they contributed to the development of the "Soy Luna: Sticker Game" app for Disney Latam in collaboration with Terra. Leonel then joined Fire Rooster as a senior programmer, and during this period they worked on various projects until 2019.
In 2016, Leonel became a course professor of game design at Extensión Universitaria - UTN Buenos Aires, where they taught a crash course on game design, focusing on analysis, prototyping, and development of games.
In 2018, Leonel joined QuickByte Games as a senior game designer, responsible for analyzing and reworking acquired games, as well as authoring design specs, building and balancing games, developing game content, and planning game economy and monetization.
In 2019, Leonel joined Hexacta as a Ssr. programmer, contributing to programming tasks until 2020. Leonel then joined Widow Games as a Sr. Unity programmer, where they worked until 2021.
Currently, Leonel is working at Double Eleven as a programmer and game designer.
Leonel Maguet's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled at the Universidad Abierta Interamericana to pursue a degree in Ingeniería en Sistemas Informáticos. During their time at the university, they focused on subjects related to programming, analysis, and design of computer systems, studying until 2013.
In addition to their degree in systems engineering, from 2011 to 2012, Leonel attended the Instituto Yuguets, where they obtained a degree as a Ludotecario. This program allowed him to specialize in games and toys.
Furthermore, from 2011 until 2013, Leonel pursued another degree at the Instituto Yuguets, this time as a Técnico Diseñador. This program also focused on games and toys, providing him with further knowledge and skills in this field.
