Hippolyte Karakostanoglou

Hippolyte Karakostanoglou is a Data Scientist with a strong background in machine learning and data analysis, currently employed at Scibids Technology since January 2022, specializing in Real Time Bidding (RTB). Prior experience includes a role as a Consultant Data Scientist at Quantmetry where expertise in natural language processing (NLP) was developed, focusing on techniques such as word embeddings and sentiment analysis. At CEA, Hippolyte contributed to the development of an algorithm for image restoration of galaxies using Deep Learning, assessing its performance against existing optimization algorithms. Earlier experience also includes a brief internship in production at SMURFIT KAPPA DISPLAY FRANCE. Education includes an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy, a Master 2 in Mathematics and Modeling from Sorbonne Université, and preparatory classes at Lycée Louis-le-Grand.
