Jonathan MacLucas

Jonathan MacLucas has a comprehensive work experience in financial reporting, accounting, and audit roles. Jonathan started their career as an Audit Senior at KPMG Audit, where they supervised public and private audit engagements in various industries. Jonathan then worked as an Assistant to the CFO at Sublime Technologies, assisting with private capital raising efforts and performing financial modeling. Later, at BDO USA LLP, they served as an Audit Manager, managing public and private audit engagements and gaining experience in SEC filings and initial and secondary public offerings.

Moving on to the real estate industry, Jonathan worked as an SEC Financial Reporting Consultant at Thomas Properties Group, where they supervised the 10K, 10Q, and Proxy filings, conducted US GAAP and SEC technical research, and collaborated with internal audit and legal counsel. Jonathan continued their career as an SEC Financial Reporting Consultant at Pacific Office Properties, reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting and collaborating with external auditors, legal counsel, and senior executives on accounting, audit, and reporting issues.

At Resources Global Professionals, Jonathan served as an SEC Financial Reporting Consultant, and their responsibilities included SEC financial reporting. Currently, they are the Vice President of Financial Reporting at Douglas Emmett, a company that owns and operates high-quality office and multifamily properties. In this role, they manage the company's SEC and lender reporting, as well as assisting with training and development.

Throughout their career, Jonathan has gained extensive experience in SEC reporting, US GAAP, audit, financial modeling, and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Jonathan MacLucas attended the University of the Witwatersrand from 1996 to 1999. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Accountancy degree with a specialization in Accounting. Jonathan has no additional certifications at this time.
