Jenny Perzanowski

Jenny Perzanowski, PHR, SHRM-CP has over 10 years of progressive HR experience. Jenny has worked at Douglas J Aveda Institutes & Salons, starting as a Human Resources Coordinator and working their way up to the role of Executive Director of Human Resources. In their various roles, Jenny has spearheaded HR initiatives, led company-wide projects, implemented labor law compliance measures, redesigned the employee handbook, championed employee engagement, streamlined HR operations through technology implementation, managed recruiting processes, administered employee benefit programs, and developed essential HR processes. Prior to working at Douglas J, Jenny gained experience as a Front Desk Representative and HR Intern at The Island House Hotel. Overall, Jenny's work experience demonstrates their expertise in strategic HR decision-making, fostering organizational growth, and creating a positive employee experience.

Jenny Perzanowski, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a B.A.A. degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from Central Michigan University, which they received in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from Romeo High School in 2005. In addition to their education, Jenny has obtained several certifications including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2014, the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in 2015, and the Engagement Champion from Gallup in 2018.
