Jonathan Francis

Jonathan Francis is the Lead iOS Engineer at Douugh. Jonathan was previously the Lead Mobile Engineer at Xinja from December 2019 to February 2021. Before that, they were the Lead iOS Developer (contract) at Hi Mum! Said Dad from August 2017 to March 2018. Prior to that, they were at Westpac from February 2016 to June 2018 where they were the Technical Lead (iOS) & Scrum Master. In this role, they provided technical advice to stakeholders and product owners during the planning stages of new features and saw those features through to delivery ensuring they were technically sound. Jonathan also provided leadership to the native iOS delivery team members, reviewed code and code structure at a feature level before being merged into a release candidate, and managed the app release process. In addition, they acted as the Agile Scrum Master for one of two native iOS delivery teams in an Agile train of 14 teams, working closely with the team by providing leadership, ensuring adherence to Agile practices, and being the "glue" between team members and external parties.
