Deepak Martin serves as the vice president of human resources for Dover Fueling Solutions, having joined DFS in 2017. In this critical role, Deepak leads the vision and strategy for the company’s culture, people strategy, talent management, learning and organizational development and internal communications functions across a global workforce in 25 countries.
Deepak brings 23 years of experience to DFS as a seasoned HR leader with broad experience leading regional and global teams. He has an impressive track record of expertise in culture work, talent management, and building partnerships between the business and HR to strengthen capabilities, organizational agility, engagement and leadership succession development. His work in these areas has driven increased productivity, streamlined decision making and higher engagement and alignment for the teams he’s led and coached throughout his career.
Deepak’s experience includes several years with Avery Dennison as a global HR business partner for global functions, and leading learning and organizational development. Prior to Avery, he spent a significant amount of time at Flex leading regional HR, supporting Asia’s 17 different businesses across the region covering 22,000 employees. During his time with Flex, Deepak also led the creation and implementation of Flex’s global career acceleration program for their employees worldwide.
Deepak holds a master’s degree in human resources, organizational development from the University of Wales, a post-graduate diploma in human resources from St. Joseph’s College of Business Administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baldwin Methodist College. He is based in the Austin, Texas headquarters for DFS.
