Barbara Frake

Barbara Frake is a seasoned fine artist and illustrator with extensive experience in the art sector. Currently serving as a Fine Artist at Chisholm Gallery since July 2011, Barbara also works as an Equine Artist at Dover Saddlery, exhibiting drawings and paintings at retail locations in Wellesley, MA, and Plaistow, NH. Barbara has illustrated over 25 books for Wiley Publishing, specializing in detailed, realistic pencil drawings for the "for Dummies" series. As a professional in fine art and freelance illustration since completing a BFA in Oil Painting, Sculpture, and German from Boston University in 1970, Barbara began their career as an illustrator at Addison-Wesley Publishing from 1970 to 1980.
