Eiji Jimbo

Eiji Jimbo is a highly experienced architectural professional with a diverse background in design, teaching, and hands-on construction. Currently serving as Principal at Thing Thing since May 2012, Eiji also works as a Carpenter for Dovetail General Contractors, contributing to a variety of residential and commercial projects. Eiji's academic involvement includes roles as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, where coursework covered topics such as California Countercultures and Introduction to Structures. Previous instructional experience includes teaching at TechShop, Inc. Eiji has held design positions at LAAVU and participated in notable projects such as the design and fabrication team for the 2012 Venice Biennale. Educational credentials include a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan.
