Kate Downey

Kate Downey is an experienced professional with a career spanning several decades in data governance and marketing. Currently serving as Vice President of Enterprise Data Governance at Dow Jones since October 1993, Kate Downey focuses on data governance related to privacy, data collection, and utilization across Dow Jones products worldwide, while also chairing the Data Council. Prior to this, Kate Downey worked as a Marketing Manager at NJ Transit from 1985 to 1993, overseeing direct marketing, public relations, special promotions, and advertising for various state transportation services. Kate Downey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University.
