Peter Timler

Peter Timler has over 20 years of experience in engineering and management roles. Peter is currently working as the Vice President of Business Development & Engineering at Dowco Consultants. Prior to this, they held various positions such as President at West-Cascadia Consultants Ltd., Chief Technical Officer at Girder-Slab Technologies, and Executive Vice President & Chief Engineer at CADeploy, Inc. Peter also has experience working as the Senior Vice President & Chief Engineer of Project Management at SME Steel Contractors and as the Corporate Business Development Officer & Vice President of Engineering at Supreme Group LP. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Western Regional Executive Director for the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction and as Vice President and Manager of Operations at UMA Group. Peter started their career at Sandwell Engineering as a Business Development Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Structural Specialist.

Peter Timler earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Civil Engineering from McMaster University from 1977 to 1981. Peter then pursued further studies at the University of Alberta from 1981 to 1984, obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
