Ankur Parikh, MD has a diverse work experience spanning various healthcare organizations. Ankur is currently working as a Digital Health Fellow at Doximity since December 2022. Prior to their current position, they were an Ophthalmology Resident at UC Health starting from July 2022. Before that, they served as a Preliminary Resident at UC Health from July 2021 to June 2022.

Ankur also has experience working at the SOAR (Student Outreach to Area Residents) Student Run Free Clinic. Ankur held the position of Chief Medical Officer from April 2020 to May 2021 and served as the Laboratory Director from May 2019 to April 2020.

Additionally, they worked as a Student Researcher at Eye Care Associates from September 2018 to May 2021, and at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) as a Student Researcher from May 2017 to August 2018. During their time at NEOMED, Ankur collaborated with Dr. William Chilian and Dr. Vahagn Ohanyan on projects related to the effects of coronary specific vasodilators on doxorubicin-induced cardiomyopathy and the pathophysiological manifestations of heart failure in mice. Ankur utilized techniques such as 2D transthoracic echocardiogram, micro-osmotic pump implantation, rodent microsurgery, and Langendorff perfusion procedure.

Ankur Parikh, MD completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) between the years 2017 and 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology and Chemistry from Youngstown State University from 2015 to 2017. Ankur also holds various certifications, including Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association, obtained in June 2021, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association, obtained in July 2019, and Mental Health First Aid for COVID-19 from the American Red Cross, obtained in April 2020.
