Bushra Anjum

Dr. Bushra Anjum has extensive experience in the field of data science and analytics. Bushra is currently employed at Doximity, where they have held various positions since 2018. In their current role as the Director of Data Science and Analytics, they lead the Commercial R&D data umbrella and supports 9 product teams. Bushra oversees the data infrastructure for existing revenue products and identifies new data-driven offerings for pharmaceutical companies, health systems, and digital recruiting services.

Prior to their current role, Dr. Anjum served as the Senior Data Science Manager at Doximity, leading the Commercial R&D data umbrella and supporting 5 product teams. Bushra led the data product and business strategy for the revenue wing of the company, working with various stakeholders and maintaining relationships with data team leaders.

Before joining Doximity, Dr. Anjum worked at Amazon as a Technical Lead and Software Development Engineer. Bushra was a member of the Amazon Prime team and was responsible for designing and building new services for innovative products used by millions of Prime members.

Dr. Anjum also has experience in academia, having worked as an Assistant (Teaching) Professor at Missouri University of Science & Technology. Bushra was involved in curriculum building and teaching foundation courses.

Furthermore, they were an Assistant Professor at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, where they planned and executed a graduate course on Cloud Computing using Amazon Web Services.

Bushra Anjum, Ph.D. completed their education in the field of Computer Science. Bushra obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. After that, they pursued a Master's degree (MS) in Computer Science from the Lahore University of Management Sciences, completing their studies from 2005 to 2007. Bushra continued their academic journey by attending North Carolina State University, where they earned their Ph.D. in Computer Science from 2007 to 2012.
