Joe Armstrong has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and companies. Joe started their career as a Computer Consultant II at the University of Michigan in 2008. From there, they became a Systems Administrator at Wright Coating Technologies in 2011. In the same year, they also became a Co-founder and Board Member at Startup Zoo. In 2012, they co-founded Sportech Labs LLC, which was later acquired by 8to18 Media, Inc. as they built the first web and mobile-ready inventory management system for athletic organizations. Joe then served as a Systems Administrator at Western Michigan University from 2008 to 2011, and later became a Graduate Assistant there from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, they took on the role of VP of Technology at 8to18 Media. Currently, Joe is working at Doximity as a Senior DevOps Engineer since February 2016.
Joe Armstrong attended Western Michigan University from 2006 to 2011, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science and focused on Mathematics. Joe then continued their education at Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business from 2011 to 2013, completing their MBA.
