Paul Jeremy Villaruel

Paul Jeremy Villaruel is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in digital transformation, project management, and software development across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Information Technology at DP World since February 2022, Villaruel oversees the startup implementation and digital transformation of the Port of Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Previously, Villaruel held significant roles at DP World Berbera, Infomax Systems Solutions and Services, Inc., Acumen Data, and Mogadishu Port Container Terminal, contributing to the successful implementation of IT systems, process improvements, and strategic project management initiatives. Villaruel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Saint Mary's University and has developed a robust skill set in IT management, service delivery, and agile development throughout a career spanning nearly two decades.
