Mike Jakes

Mike Jakes is a Senior VDC Manager at DPR Construction since September 2023, where responsibilities include integrating construction technology with field and project staff while developing the VDC team. Prior experience includes management roles in construction technology at XL Construction from February 2017 to September 2023, as well as positions as BIM Technology Manager at Schetter Electric, Inc., and EDS Technologist at Sprig Electric. Mike's career began as an Electrical Designer/BIM Coordinator at Schetter Electric, followed by roles at Butterfield Electric, Inc. as Draftsman First Class/BIM Manager, and earlier in sheet metal fabrication at BJ Heating and Air Conditioning. Mike also has experience as an Electronics Technician at Central Control Systems. Mike holds an A.A. in Computer Aided Drafting and Design from a Technical/Trade School completed between 2006 and 2008.
