Michel Awadalla

Michel Awadalla, P.E., LEED® AP has a diverse and extensive work experience in the engineering and architecture industry. Michel is currently the Director of Engineering and Architecture at DPS Group Global, where they have been since 2011. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of MEP Engineering and the Senior Electrical Engineer - MEP Department Manager at the same company. With a specialization in the design of Bio-Pharmaceutical, Life Science, and Mission Critical Facilities, Michel has acquired a wealth of knowledge and expertise in their field.

Before joining DPS Group Global, Michel worked at Syska Hennessy Group as a Senior Associate - Senior Electrical Engineer from 2005 to 2011. Michel also gained valuable experience at AKF Group as an Electrical Engineer from 2004 to 2005, and at AREVA T&D as an Engineer II from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineer I at Framatome and as an Assistant Engineer at Duke Engineering & Services in 2002.

Michel Awadalla, P.E., LEED® AP obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Electrical Engineering and Power Engineering, from Manhattan College in the years 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned another Bachelor of Science in Civil and Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in Electrical Power Engineering, from Ain Shams University from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their educational qualifications, Michel Awadalla holds certifications such as LEED® AP from the USGBC and is a Registered Professional Engineer in multiple states including AR, CT, CO, DE, GA, IA, IN, MA, ME, MD, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TN, TX, VA, WA, and WI.
