Janis Weiß

Janis Weiß has had three work experiences in chronological order. In 2008, they started their career at Lauffenmühle GmbH, where they completed an apprenticeship as a textile product finisher from September 2008 to July 2011. Janis then worked as a textile product finisher from August 2011 to July 2012. In 2017, they joined StorCon Engineering GmbH, where they worked as a project engineer and designer from September 2017 to May 2021. Janis also completed a study internship with the company from April 2017 to August 2017. Currently, Janis is working at DPS Software GmbH as a CAD consultant since February 2022.

Janis Weiß completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Maschinenbau from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund. Prior to that, they obtained a Fachhochschulreife in Textiltechnik from Gewerbeschule Schopfheim in 2011. Additionally, Janis has obtained multiple certifications from Dassault Systèmes, including Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - MBD, Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - Weldments, Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional – Simulation, Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - Sheet Metal, and Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional, with the most recent certification obtained in 2023.
