Head of Veterinary Medicine at Dr. Treat

Felicity Moffatt has a diverse work experience in the field of veterinary medicine. Felicity is currently the Head of Veterinary Medicine at Dr. Treat, a position they took on in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Veterinarian at the same company from April 2022.

Before joining Dr. Treat, Felicity worked at VetnCare, where they held multiple roles. From March 2020 to March 2022, they served as a Lead Veterinarian, focusing on improving clinical standards and training clinical teams. Felicity worked clinically alongside the team to identify and address problem areas, improve hospital flow, and implement protocols and systems to enhance patient care and client experience. Additionally, from January 2019 to March 2020, they served as the Medical Director, overseeing the clinical standards and development of 7 hospitals and leading advanced procedures such as rhinoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasonography, chemotherapy, and abdominal surgery. Felicity also served as the Clinical Director from April 2018 to January 2019.

Prior to VetnCare, Felicity worked as a Veterinary Surgeon at Village Vet from May 2014 to March 2018. In this role, they were part of a large team providing first opinion care and emergency and critical care cover for over 20 London practices. Felicity gained significant experience in emergency and complex case management under the guidance of specialists and advanced practitioners.

Felicity's educational background includes a small animal rotating internship at the Royal Veterinary College, U. of London, from June 2016 to July 2017. During this time, they completed a postgraduate diploma in veterinary clinical practice and conducted a research project published in VCOT (Veterinary and Comparative Orthopaedics and Traumatology) in 2019.

Prior to their internship, Felicity worked as a Veterinary Surgeon at Meridon Ltd from September 2015 to June 2016 and at SPRINZ AND NASH LIMITED from May 2012 to March 2014.

Felicity Moffatt attended the University of Melbourne from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree with a specialization in Veterinary Medicine. In April 2012, they became a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) after completing their certification with the institution. Additionally, they have obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London. Felicity also holds a Veterinary License in California, which was obtained from the Veterinary Medical Board.
