Khawar Durrani

Khawar Durrani has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies in different roles. Khawar is currently working as a Project Controls Lead at DRA Global since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Aurecon from 2016 to 2021, starting as a Project Controls Specialist and later becoming a Project Controls Manager. Before Aurecon, Khawar worked at Jacobs from 2008 to 2015 as a Project Manager / Controls Specialist, where they managed teams and delivered engineering and construction support for power generation and transmission line projects. Khawar also possesses strong skills in cost controls and planning using software like PRISM G2 and Prima Vera P6. Prior to Jacobs, Khawar served as a Business Manager at Magellan Power Pty Ltd from 2002 to 2008, where they were responsible for business development and project delivery. Khawar started their career at Siemens Pakistan Engineering Co. Ltd. as an Executive Engineer from 2000 to 2002.

Khawar Durrani's education history includes a Master of Science in Project Management from 2010 to 2020 at Curtin University. Khawar also earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Project Management from Curtin University.
