Damian Ferencz

Damian Ferencz has a strong background in software development and teaching. Damian began their career as a Software Developer at Facultad de Ciencias Universidad de la Republica, where they taught classes in the field of mathematics. Damian then moved on to dLocal as a Software Developer, where they gained experience in developing software solutions. Damian then joined Sophilabs as a Developer, working on various projects involving Python Django and React. Damian also worked as a Semi Senior Developer at Sophilabs, contributing to structural changes in the payment subsystem for Nifty Gateway. Most recently, Damian worked at Bungalow as a Software Engineer, focusing on backend development for demand-customers flows. Damian was responsible for implementing backend flows for "entire home" leases and ensuring a smooth transition from the initial version. Damian's most recent role is as a Backend Engineer at Draftea, where they continue to leverage their software development skills.

Damian Ferencz received their education from the Universidad de la República. From 2014 to 2020, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Later, from 2016 to 2021, Damian obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degrees, they also obtained certifications. In September 2021, they earned a certification in Homotopy Type Theory ECI 34 from the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Furthermore, in January 2013, Damian achieved a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge Assessment International Education.
