Matthew T. Schatz

Matthew T. Schatz has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and employment law. Matthew T. currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Employment Counsel at Dragados USA, Inc. Matthew T. joined the company in June 2019 as an Employment Counsel and later assumed the additional role in January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Lufthansa as the Employee Relations and Compliance Manager for North America from August 2017 to June 2019. In this role, they provided support and guidance on various employment law topics and implemented human resources policies to ensure compliance with laws. Before that, they worked as a Partner at Schwartz & Perry LLP, where they provided employment law counseling and representation to clients from July 2004 to August 2016. Matthew T. also gained experience as an intern at the United State Senate in the Office of Daniel Patrick Moynihan in 2000. Throughout their career, Matthew T. Schatz has demonstrated expertise in employment law, contract review and negotiation, policy development, and litigation.

Matthew T. Schatz received their Juris Doctor degree in Law from New York Law School, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Drew University, where they attended from 1997 to 2001.
