Shannon Thompson has extensive work experience in the field service operations of the oil and gas industry. They began their career at NATCO Group in 1990, where they worked as the Mid-Continent Region Manager, overseeing various functions such as customer service, facility management, and budgeting. In 2009, they transitioned to Cameron, where they served as an Executive Account Manager, responsible for strategic relationships and sales management in the Southwest US.
Thompson then moved on to Valerus in 2010 as the Permian Basin Production Equipment District Manager, where they oversaw the growth and profitability of production equipment and service operations. They achieved significant revenue growth during this time.
In 2011, Thompson joined Platinum Control Technologies as the Vice President of Technical Services. They were responsible for implementing a training program and attracting service personnel to key locations, contributing to increased product sales.
Following this, Thompson worked at KWI (KW International, LLC) as the Director of Field Operations from 2013 to 2017, where they assisted producers, midstream, and pipeline consumers with surface production equipment and related instrumentation difficulties.
Their current role is as the VP Dragon Products PES Parts and Service at Dragon Products Ltd, where they oversee field service operations and support the growth and expansion of the company's product lines. They assist producers, midstream, and pipeline consumers with various difficulties related to surface production equipment and instrumentation.
Shannon Thompson holds an A.A. in Applied Science and a Certificate in Environmental Technology from New Mexico Junior College, with a field of study in Environmental Science. They also obtained a certification in Environmental Technology from the same institution.
