Zachary Karmiol

Zachary Karmiol has a diverse work experience in both the private and academic sectors. Zachary is currently employed as a Research and Development Scientist II at Dragonfly Energy Corporation since November 2021. Prior to this, Zachary worked at the University of Nevada Reno for a significant period from 2010 to 2022. During their time at the university, they held various roles including Research Assistant from September 2010 to August 2022, Director from September 2019 to November 2021, and Research Scientist from December 2016 to November 2021.

Zachary Karmiol has a strong educational background in Materials Science and Engineering. Zachary began their academic journey at the University of Nevada Reno, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Materials Sciences & Engineering in 2012. Continuing their pursuit of knowledge in this field, Zachary went on to earn a Master's of Science (M.S.) degree from the same institution in 2014. Demonstrating their commitment to advanced learning, they subsequently enrolled in the University of Nevada, Reno for their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science and Engineering, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
