Michael Naill

Michael Naill has a strong background in CMC Technical Operations and Manufacturing Sciences. Michael started their career at Alexion Pharmaceuticals in 2005 as a Process Development Scientist. Michael then worked at Abbott Laboratories as a Senior Scientist in Technical Operations from 2007 to 2009. Following that, they joined AbbVie in 2010 as a Senior CMC Project Leader, where they led and managed biologics development drug substance CMC teams. In 2015, they joined bluebird bio as an Associate Director in CMC Regulatory Science and later became the Director of Manufacturing Sciences. Most recently, Naill joined Dragonfly Therapeutics, Inc. in 2018 as the Vice President of CMC Technical Operations.

Michael Naill earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they attended from 1995 to 1999. Michael then pursued further education and completed their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 1999 to 2004.
