Mykhailo Parfeniuk

Technical Director, Render Technology at Dragons Lake

Mykhailo Parfeniuk has over a decade of work experience in the field of graphics programming and software development. Mykhailo began their career at Aricent as a Software Engineer before moving on to GSC Game World, where they worked as a Graphics Programmer and contributed to the porting of the x-ray engine to DirectX 11 and Xbox 360. Mykhailo then joined Ubisoft Ukraine as a Graphics Programmer, where they worked on projects such as HAWX, HAWX 2, and Driver: San Francisco. Mykhailo then joined Persha Studia (a subsidiary of Wargaming.net), where they worked as a Senior Render Programmer on the game "World of Warplanes." Mykhailo also worked as an Independent Contractor before joining Intellias as a Senior and later Lead C++ Developer, where they focused on improving the performance of an automotive navigation project. As an Independent Contractor, they provided software development services, including support for HLSLParser in TheForge and memory usage investigation for an automotive navigation software. Mykhailo then worked at The Forge Interactive, Inc as a Contractor, where they optimized shader code and resource binding for Call of Duty: Cold War and worked on the VR Compositor for Qualcomm VR SDK. Most recently, Mykhailo joined Dragons Lake as the Technical Director in Render Technology and was previously the Associate Technical Director and Lead Render/Engine Engineer on the PS4 and Xbox One/Series port of the Godfall franchise. Mykhailo was responsible for various tasks such as scope analysis, performance optimization, and setting up workflows. Overall, Mykhailo Parfeniuk has a strong background in graphics programming, optimization, shader development, and project coordination.

Mykhailo Parfeniuk earned a master's degree in informatics from Volins'kij Deržavnij Universitet im. Leci Ukrainki, where they attended from 2002 to 2007.
