Roland Birsan

Roland Birsan has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Roland is currently serving as the Delivery Director, PMO at Dragons Lake, where they are responsible for developing a standard delivery framework, game development framework, and enhancing client satisfaction. Prior to this, Roland worked as an Independent Games Production Consultant and as the Lead Producer at MetaKing Studios. Roland'sprevious role at Electronic Arts (EA) as the Development Director involved process and workflow management, resource management, defining and monitoring metrics, and using analytics for improvement. Roland also has experience in project management, project lead, compliance analysis, and QA testing.

Roland Birsan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics from Universitatea Româno-Americană din București. Roland completed their degree from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Roland also acquired several certifications. These include the Certified Scrum Master (CSM I) from Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in November 2022. Roland also obtained the certification for Microsoft DAT207x: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI from edX in April 2017, and the certification for Global Project Management from the International Institute for Learning in February 2015.
