John Horten

EVP, Supply Chain & Operations at Draper James

John Horten is the current EVP of Supply Chain & Operations at Draper James. John has over 15 years of experience in the retail and apparel industry, with a focus on supply chain management.

John began their career at Gap Inc., where they spent two years as the Director of Global Supply Chain Strategy. In this role, they were responsible for leading the strategy and execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives to deliver a more responsive global supply chain.

In 2013, John left Gap Inc. to join ANN INC. as the Director of Corporate Strategy. John spent one year in this role before leaving to join Weave Services Limited as the Director of Weave USA.

At Weave Services, John was responsible for sourcing, scoping and leading client engagements, as well as leading multiple teams of consultants delivering supply chain transformation programs. John also oversaw the recruiting, training and coaching of associates, and was responsible for the business and marketing strategy for the US division.

John left Weave Services in 2018 to join Draper James, where they currently serve as EVP of Supply Chain & Operations. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s supply chain, from sourcing and manufacturing to logistics and distribution.

John Horten has an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, a BA in Leadership Studies and Political Science from the University of Richmond, and is certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and by APICS as a Certified Supply Chain Professional.
