Ahmed Suleiman

Ahmed Suleiman has significant experience in financial and support services management, currently serving as the Head of Support Services for Somalia at the Danish Refugee Council since September 2023. Previously, Ahmed was the Finance and Support Services Director for the Yemen Country Office at Save the Children International, overseeing a substantial budget of $80-$90 million and managing a team of over 50 staff across numerous field locations. Ahmed has also held roles such as Deputy Finance Director for the South Sudan Country Office and Senior Regional Roving Finance Manager for East and Southern Africa, providing financial oversight across 12 countries. Earlier experience includes positions at Adeso and the International Rescue Committee, as well as various finance roles at Save the Children International. Ahmed's educational background includes a Master's degree in Finance, Leadership, and Management from the University of York, a Master’s degree in Financial Management from AMITY University Gurgaon, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance Option) from East Africa University in Somalia.
