Sharai Bohannon

Sharai Bohannon is an accomplished writer and theatre professional with a diverse background in production and audience services. Currently serving as a News Writer and Staff Writer at Dread Central Media, LLC since September 2021, and as the Director of Production for The Rachel Lynett Theatre Company since June 2020, Sharai has also developed a freelance writing career starting in December 2019. Previous experience includes roles such as House Manager and Director of Patron Services at Indiana University Bloomington, Office Coordinator and Audience Services Representative at Lyric Opera of Chicago, and various positions at other notable theatre companies. Educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Playwriting from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre from the University of Central Missouri, complemented by an Associate of Arts in Journalism from Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley.
