Liz Solorio has a diverse work experience starting from 2009. Liz worked at the University of California, Berkeley in various roles such as Administrative Clerk, Summer Bridge Resident Assistant, Resident Assistant, and Cal Student Orientation Counselor. In 2010, they worked as an Americorps Destination College Academic Advisor at the Youth Radio Network. From 2012 to 2014, Liz interned at the National Family Farm Coalition and later joined Food & Water Watch. During their time at Food & Water Watch, Liz worked as a Program Administrative Assistant, Activist Network Coordinator, and Campus Program Manager/Senior Organizer. Currently, they are associated with Dream Corps, where they have held positions like Digital Engagement Manager, Deputy Director of Digital & Program Engagement, and Director of Digital Engagement.
Liz Solorio began their education in 2008 at the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Society & Environment in 2012. In 2011, they had a study abroad experience at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, focusing on Ethnic Studies. In the same year, they also attended the Berkeley Washington Program. In 2012, Liz briefly studied City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
