Michelle Romero

Michelle Romero has a diverse work experience, with notable roles in various organizations. Michelle is currently the Founder & CEO of We Create the Future, LLC, where they aim to assist leaders in transforming the world. Prior to this, Michelle served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Dream Corps, overseeing the organization's Justice, Tech, and Green For All programs. Michelle also held positions such as National Director and Deputy Director of Green For All, where they played a significant role in increasing the budget and launching initiatives to promote clean energy and transportation infrastructure. Michelle has also worked at the University of California as a Coordinator for Issues Management & Policy Analysis Coordination, and at The Greenlining Institute as the Claiming Our Democracy Program Director and Manager. Other experience includes serving as the PAC Director at Greenlining Action PAC, being a member of the Board of Directors at California Common Cause, and working as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Michelle also had involvement with the University of California Student Association and served on the Board on Admissions & Relations with Schools (BOARS) at the University of California.

Michelle Romero earned their Associate's Degree in Literature from Foothill College, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Michelle then went on to attend the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a B.A. in World Literature & Cultural Studies, with a minor in Latin American/Latino Studies.
