Lauren Karr

Lauren Karr has a diverse and extensive work experience in the education industry. Lauren is currently working as the Senior Director of Professional Development at DreamBox Learning, a position they started in April 2022. Prior to this, from July 2021 to March 2022, they served as the Vice President of Customer Success at FocalPoint Education.

In April to June 2021, Lauren was the Director of Customer Success at Gaggle. Before that, from April 2019 to March 2021, they were the Regional Director of Professional Development at Edgenuity Inc. In this role, they oversaw the East Coast region, providing customer support and implementation services to ensure student success.

From March 2015 to April 2020, Lauren worked at Odysseyware as the Regional Vice President of Customer Success for the East region. Lauren was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with districts and supporting them throughout the sales and implementation process.

Lauren's career at Edgenuity Inc. started in February 2013 as a Regional Sales Assistant, where they supported the Southeastern sales team. From June 2008 to December 2012, they served as a Senior Professional Development Consultant, working directly with instructors and administrators in various states.

Lauren also has experience as a Teacher, working at Rockdale County Schools from December 2007 to June 2008 and at the School District of Hillsborough County from August 2005 to June 2007.

Throughout their career, Lauren has demonstrated expertise in areas such as customer success, professional development, curriculum mapping, drop out prevention, and alternative learning options.

Lauren Karr attended Rockdale County High School from 1995 to 1999. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies at the University of South Florida from 1999 to 2003.
