Brett Dunst has extensive work experience, starting as a Summer Intern at Toyota Logistics Services in 1997 and 1998. During their time there, they conducted PC desktop troubleshooting and worked as a web developer and graphic designer, constructing the first web prototype for the intranet system "Dealer Daily."

In 1999, Dunst joined DreamHost as the Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Communications. Brett built and led a fast-growing marketing team, managing online and offline brand presence and tracking annual spends of over $5 million.
