Clemens Mitterwallner has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Web Developer Intern at Andritz AG, where they gained experience in creating a web-based BIND administration portal. In 2009, they joined GIMO Global Interactive Marketing Online Ltd as a Web Developer, focusing on developing multi-language gaming websites. At drivebusiness, they held the roles of Web Developer and Senior Developer, leading a small team and contributing to the development of ecommerce platforms for various fashion brands.

In 2011, Clemens joined Spring Studios as a Senior Developer and later became the Tech Lead. Clemens oversaw the software development lifecycle process for enterprise-level ecommerce, editorial, and brand website solutions for clients such as Canali, Versus Versace, and Target. Additionally, Clemens managed a team of up to 8 developers and introduced new processes to optimize operations.

From 2015 to 2017, they served as the Development Manager at AllSaints Retail Ltd. In this role, they were responsible for their multi-million pound e-commerce website and led a team of up to 15 developers and testers. Clemens utilized the Kanban methodology to continuously improve and expand the in-house software systems.

At Mirum Agency, Clemens worked as a Technical Architect from 2017 to 2020, leading high-profile tech projects for clients including Shell, Bayer, and West Ham United. Clemens introduced and implemented new processes, advised clients on technology choices, and brought engineering teams together.

Currently, Clemens Mitterwallner is the Head of Engineering at DREST, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Engineering Manager/Technical Delivery Manager, starting in October 2020.

Clemens Mitterwallner completed their education at FH Joanneum from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a degree in Computer Science (DI (FH)).
