Robert Yates

Robert Yates has over 15 years of experience in software testing and development. Robert started their career as a Software Test Engineer at Earth Networks in 2007, where they tested applications, websites, and services for various platforms. Robert ensured compliance with ISO 9001 standards and worked both individually and as part of a team. In 2013, they joined the Immune Tolerance Network as a Software QA Engineer, where they performed the Scrum Master role for up to two teams. Robert tested websites used by internal and external customers and implemented Continuous Integration for Java web apps. Since 2014, Robert has been working at DrFirst, Inc., initially as a Senior Software Developer in Test and currently as a Principal Test Engineer. At DrFirst, they have been responsible for testing websites, Android & iOS apps, and APIs using automated and manual tests. Robert has also written test frameworks, mentored fellow testers, and provided guidance on test and automation approaches.

Robert Yates attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
