Before that, they were a F-16 MTC Instructor at Delaware Resource Group in 2013. Monty'slongest work tenure was with the US Air Force, where they held various positions from 1996 to 2013. These positions included Deputy Group CC, Squadron Commander, Director of Operations, F-16 Instr Pilot, and Deployed Strike / CAS Lead Planner. Monty'sresponsibilities in the Air Force ranged from providing leadership and guidance to overseeing joint exercises and executing combat training scenarios. Monty also served as a Country Director for International Affairs, where they formulated policy and recommendations on sensitive issues impacting US politico-military relations in Europe.
Monty Hostetler received their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Texas Tech University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Monty then pursued a Master of Aeronautical Science degree in Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, attending from 1994 to 1995. Later, Monty continued their education at Air University, USAF from 2004 to 2005, earning a Master of Aerospace Science degree in Military Operational Art and Science.
