Ernst de Wiljes

Ernst de Wiljes is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as a Construction Project Manager at DRI since October 2023, overseeing multiple utility-scale solar and wind projects. Prior experience includes a tenure at Shell from October 2014 to September 2023, where Ernst held the positions of EPC Manager, Area Project Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineer, leading the engineering, procurement, and construction of renewable power facilities and managing complex brownfield projects. Additional experience includes a role as an Associate at LOGEX and consulting with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Ernst holds an MSc in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology and La Trobe University, and a BSc in Technische Natuurkunde from Delft University of Technology.
