Steve Puiszis

Steve Puiszis has extensive experience in the legal field, starting their career as an Assistant States Attorney in the Office of the State's Attorney of Cook County from 1979 to 1984. Steve then joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in 1984 and served as a Partner and General Counsel for over 30 years, successfully defending various types of civil lawsuits and litigated matters, including winning a class action suit. In 2016, they became the Past Chair of DRI Center for Law and Public Policy at DRI - The Voice of the Defense Bar.

Steve Puiszis completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from DePaul University, where they attended from 1972 to 1976. Before that, they attended St. Laurence High School from 1968 to 1972.
