Melissa Spedden

Melissa Spedden has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on sales and catering roles. Melissa started their career as a Director of Catering at Interstate Hotels & Resorts in 2003 and then moved to Embassy Suites Dulles-North in 2005, where they served as the Director of Catering for a year. In 2006, they joined Hilton Washington & Capital Hilton as a Senior Catering Manager. In 2008, they transitioned to the position of Director of Business Travel Sales at Hilton Washington Dulles Airport, where they stayed until 2012. Melissa then joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as a Business Travel Sales Manager for a nine-month period in 2013. Later in the same year, they moved to Westin Tysons Corner and Hilton Rockville as their Director of Business Travel Sales. In 2015, they joined Driftwood Hospitality Management as an Area Director of Business Travel Sales and then moved to HEI Hotels & Resorts in 2018 as their Director of Sales.

Melissa Spedden attended Laurel Highlands High School from 1985 to 1987.
