Emily Barran

Emily Barran is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in driving social and environmental impact across various organizations. Currently serving as a Changemaker at Drivers of Impact since December 2021, Emily focuses on crowdsourcing and collaboration within a modern think tank environment. As the Green Industrialisation Lead at the Climate Action Platform for Africa from August 2023 to December 2024, Emily aims to harness Africa's potential for climate action. Prior roles include Senior Project Leader at Open Capital, where strategic consulting catered to sub-Saharan Africa, and Partnerships Manager at West London Zone, where a strategy for collective impact partnerships supporting disadvantaged children was designed and implemented. Emily's career began with project management at Long Run Works, where entrepreneurial support initiatives were executed. Emily holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, a Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, and a BA Hons in Classical Literature and Philosophy from the University of Leeds.
