Sanjeev Howlader P.e.

Senior Structural Engineer at DRMP

Sanjeev Howlader, P.E. has a diverse work experience in structural engineering. Starting in 2007 as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, they performed research work on bridge pier replacement. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Structural Engineer at SWA where they designed and analyzed various highway structures and foundations. At HDR Engineering from 2013 to 2016, they served as a Railroad Bridge Engineer. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Bergmann Associates as a Project Engineer, focusing on bridge repair and substructure design. In 2017, they joined the Virginia Department of Transportation as a Senior Engineer, overseeing the design and management of bridge projects. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Structural Engineer at SNC-Lavalin Atkins. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Structural Engineer at DRMP, Inc., responsible for designing and analyzing complex steel and concrete bridges in the Southeast region.

Sanjeev Howlader, P.E. obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2007 to 2008. Sanjeev has also acquired several additional certifications, including being a Registered Professional Engineer with the Virginia Board since March 2017, a Registered Professional Engineer with the Florida Board of Professional Engineers since February 2017, and a Registered Professional Engineer with the State of Maryland since December 2013.
