Thomas Martz

Thomas Martz is currently the Entrepreneur In Residence at Droia Ventures. Thomas has over 10 years of experience in life sciences business development, diligence, strategy, and operations.

Martz began their career as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. Thomas then became an MBA Intern in Corporate Development at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals and Eleven Biotherapeutics. In 2015, they joined Third Rock Ventures as a Senior Associate and was a founding member of Goldfinch Bio. Thomas then became the Head of Corporate Development at Goldfinch Bio in 2016. In 2019, they founded TDM Consulting LLC, where they served as Principal until 2021.

Martz has a long history of working in the life sciences industry and has been instrumental in the development and growth of several companies. Thomas is an expert in business development, corporate strategy, and competitive intelligence. Thomas is a passionate advocate for the life sciences industry and is dedicated to helping companies succeed.

Thomas Martz first completed a BS in Biochemistry at Boston College. Thomas then pursued an MBA at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Finally, they completed a study abroad program in Chemistry at the University of Melbourne.

Their manager is Janwillem Naesens, Managing Partner. They work with Luc Dochez - Managing Partner, Genetic Disease, Lenny Van Steenhuyse - Principal, and Sebastian Bernales - Venture Partner.
