Momchil Tsekov

Momchil Tsekov has held various roles in the IT and Cybersecurity fields since 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they were an AVG Anti-Virus Technical Support at Sixty K Ltd (60K). At Hewlett-Packard, they were an End-Point Threat Management Operations Specialist from 2010 to 2014. In this role, they managed incidents and operations according to ITIL guidelines and monitored and configured McAfee, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Microsoft Forefront, Trend Micro and other Anti-Virus, Firewall, Encryption and IPS/IDS solutions. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Senior Network Security Engineer and Senior Endpoint Security Engineer at Caretower. At Axway, they were a MFT (Managed File Transfer) Product Specialist from 2015 to 2016. In this role, they provided customer support over phone, email and ticketing systems. From 2016 to 2022, they were a Digital Services Team Lead and Anti-Malware and Endpoint Security at TELUS International. In this role, they led the design and implementation of security solutions in a large enterprise environment. Currently, they are an Architect IT and Cybersecurity at DRONAMICS.

Momchil Tsekov obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Network Technologies (Network Administration) in English from the New Bulgarian University between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they attended the Private School of Informatics and Mathematics, where they obtained a High School degree in Computer Software Engineering between 2001 and 2006. Momchil also holds certifications from VMware, Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd., Microsoft, and AVG Technologies, including VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2019, VMware vSphere 6.5 Foundations, Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator, Implementing Forefront Endpoint Protection 2010, and AVG Internet Security and Remote Administration.
