Director - Aviation Regulation and Policy at Dronamics

Rebecca Johnston has extensive work experience, beginning with their role as Managing Director and General Counsel at KBE Legal Hub in 2018. Rebecca then moved on to become a Sessional Lecturer at The University of Western Australia in 2016. In 2019, Johnston was appointed Legal Practice Director at Johnston Wheeler. In 2020, they became Managing Partner at Mason Ledger and Non Executive Director at North Kimberley Airport- Formerly Mungalalu Truscott Airbase. In 2021, they were appointed Non Executive Director at Mirrorplex, Director at Upgrade Fund, and Executive Director and General Counsel at Space Industries. Finally, in 2022, they took on the role of Director - Aviation Regulation and Policy at DRONAMICS, as well as Deputy Chair and Consumer Representative, Plumbers Licensing Board at the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, Western Australia.

Rebecca Johnston completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Politics and International Relations from The University of Notre Dame Australia in 2011. Rebecca then completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the same university in 2011. In 2012, they completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia. In 2015, they were admitted to the New York State Bar as an Attorney and Counselor at Law. Finally, they completed a Master of Business Administration - MBA with a focus in Finance from The University of Western Australia in 2018.
