Mark Wuennenberg, LCol Retd, ATPL, MSM, CD2, MSM, QDJM, is a highly experienced aviation professional with over 35 years in regulatory affairs, airworthiness, and UAS operations. Currently serving as a Technical Officer/Consultant for the International Civil Aviation Organization since October 2017, Mark successfully led the adoption of the largest new Standards package in two decades and serves as the Technical Officer for the ICAO RPAS Secretariat. Concurrently, in the role of VP Regulatory Affairs at Drone Delivery Canada, Mark focuses on advancing UAS capabilities for delivery solutions. As the Owner and Lead Consultant at Skyworthy UAS Consultants Inc, Mark offers expertise on UAS regulations and airspace integration. Previous roles include Command Flight Safety and Airworthiness Officer for the Canadian Army, Canadian Head of Delegation for NATO's Joint Capability Group on UAS, and Civil Aviation Inspector at Transport Canada, where significant contributions to Canadian UAS regulatory frameworks were made. Mark has also held leadership positions in various NATO and Canadian military projects, emphasizing operational airworthiness and development of UAS standards.
