Alyssa Moritz

Alyssa Moritz has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Alyssa is currently working as a Flight Engineer at DroneUp since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Full Package Media from May 2021 to October 2022 as a Photographer, Videographer & Drone Pilot, where they captured ground and aerial photos and videos for real estate media production. Alyssa ensured the artistic value of properties was displayed through professional photography and videography mechanisms and equipment. Alyssa also handled the uploading and categorizing of media for editing.

Alyssa also has experience at Amazon, where they served as a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist from July 2021 to September 2021. Their responsibilities included ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety policies and procedures, conducting trainings, and conducting event and incident investigations.

Alyssa has also worked at Momentum Solar as a Confirmations Specialist from March 2021 to April 2021, where they confirmed or disqualified scheduled appointments with customers and communicated with management and colleagues to problem-solve scheduling.

In the past, Alyssa worked at Tom Thumb Supermarket as a Floral Designer from April 2015 to November 2020. Their role involved executing various and unique floral arrangements, assisting the management team with prioritizing deliverables, and developing merchandising strategies.

Alyssa also gained customer service experience at ServiceLink National Flood, LLC, where they worked as a Customer Service Representative from December 2019 to May 2020. Their responsibilities included providing B2B and client-facing communication, liaising with customers and management, and performing quality control procedures.

Additionally, Alyssa has worked as a Staff Member at Viki Hall Staffing, executing event set up and take down procedures, providing guest service, and serving food and drinks. Alyssa worked there from May 2013 to October 2015.

Alyssa also gained experience in the hospitality industry as a Villa Attendant at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts during the Byron Nelson PGA Tournament in May 2013, 2014, and 2015. Their role involved providing customer service in private company-sponsored villas and serving banquet food and cocktails throughout the tournament.

Lastly, Alyssa worked as a Tutor at the University of North Texas from March 2012 to May 2013. Alyssa provided tutoring and feedback to UNT student-athletes in subjects such as History, German language, and composition writing. Alyssa also tracked progress and advocated for students to connect with additional school resources.

Alyssa Moritz holds a Master of Science - MS degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy, which they obtained from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs between 2016 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in International Studies with a Concentration in Business and Economics at the University of North Texas from 2010 to 2014. In 2019, they also obtained a Paralegal Certificate from Texas Christian University. Additionally, Alyssa Moritz has earned a Part 107 License (Commercial Drone License) from the Federal Aviation Administration in May 2021.
